Professional Experience
The 1st period from 1980 up to 1990. I was employed by the Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company (GUPCO), in its Production Division, where I gained valuable experience in the management and control of offshore and onshore operations, in a supervisory position, dealing with different type of equipments and wells. The production facilities include gas compression , water injection, well testing, chemical injection and pipeline operations, also I was responsible for well related activities include rig handover and well start up, wire line interventions and preparations for work over operations. This period included approximately one year in the Engineering Department, where I developed more skills
The 2nd period from 1990 up to 1992. I spent this period in Western Desert with GUPCO, where I had the opportunity to add further skills and knowledge to my experience by supervising wire-line and jet pump operations. During this period
The 3rd period from 1992 up to 2003, employed by Al-Farat Petroleum Company (AFPC), Omar Gas Plant, SYRIA. I employed as Production supervisor & promoted to Section Head of the Omar Gas Plant where I am responsible for the safe and efficient operation, ensuring operational integrity is maintained & the quality and quantity of the product is met for the companies contractual obligations., also S/D co-coordinator including developing of plans, procedures, and supervision of shutdown work.
The 4th period from Jan. 2003 up to now , I have got a good opportunity , changed my career from operation to training, I employed by Tri-star company , I employed as on – the - job training instructor ( OJT ), currently I am responsible to train the operator and senior operator levels within the production discipline a task list book is an aid to AFPC staff in assessing an employees capability in fulfilling the requirements of his job and is to be undertaken by the employee once he has completed the basic science and Technical Studies Program in the training center.
The OJT task book covers both operator and senior operator levels within the production Discipline and each task has a competency target rating that the employee must meet as a minimum to become qualified as a operator or senior Operator.
