Operations Manager

I have reached the mandatory retirement from Shell Malaysia (at 55 years old) recently. I am still energetic, passionate on work. I believe I have much to offer to the employing company and the host country.

My service in Shell E&P centred around Production engineering, managing of people (up to a work force of 400 at one stage) and leading skillpool/resourcing have been a part of my responsibilities. In my current capacity of discipline lead for Production and Operations Readiness and Assurance in Shell Nigeria, I cover areas such as operations standards and systems and delivered Production governance, standards and procedures.

Though my skillpool is in Production Engineering, other disciplines such as HSE, staff Learning and Development and audit are integrals of my responsibility. I love being a pioneer and challenges on work as well as delivery of hard targets. I am confident that I have the intellectual capacity and capability to excel in any managerial job.

After high school, I enrolled in Shell executive technical training school and did my two-year apprentice. Thereafter, I went through all the various production disciplines and excel in every aspects to become a Production Discipline Expert not only in the operating company but also across Shell group.

I did my MBA on distance learning. I am also a qualified OIM Assessor through BTEC Certifications and have practical experience.

I'm a very determine person and fully committed in whatever I undertake. I am meticulous and demand only the best not only from others but with myself as well. I like challenges in life and push myself into a new height continuously.
