The main expertise of the wireline FE is the formation evaluation using specialised tools that are lowered in the borehole using electric wireline cable. Real time survey and data acquisition is done to get the 'picture' downhole. Wireline FE is also involved in handling Radioactive sources and Explosives, safely. Safety has always been one of the most critical points in the job, considering the risks and hazards associated with the job. Therefore safety is part and parcel of the work and consequently lifestyle.
