•Write the CGI server layer using Active Server Pages (ASP) that run in the environment of a Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) which use DCOM technology to call objects that reside on Microsoft Transaction Server (MTS).
•Interface the Transaction System’s client application with Q-Agent via DDE to automate the retrieval of client’s details when the CSO picks up a call from Q-Master.
•Bug fixing, optimizing and enhancing the existing Transaction System, which is written in VB6 with an Oracle back-end.
•Develop new reports to Sanford’s staff using Active Reports.

Duties:
Develop and maintain the GIS Browser application
The GIS Browser a multi-tier client application written in VB 6. It uses ActiveX objects to communicate with Smallworld. It is aimed at providing users with a friendly and easy-to-use map browsing and spatial querying tool. It uses Win32 API’s to enhance the performance, and it utilises the NetAPI set to perform the initial authentication. It also uses a centralised version management technique to maintain versions and control upgrades.
