Work Experience:

 Previously working with Aarti Drugs Ltd., Rashesh Chemicals Div., MIDC-Tarapur (Thane) (one of the largest manufacturers of bulk drugs and an ISO 9001:2000 company having turnover of Rs. 300 crore) as a Production Officer from 17th Sept. 2002. to 8th Feb-2006.

 Currently working with UCB India pvt. Ltd. (PHARMA MNC)-G.I.D.C-VAPI, as a production officer from 21st Feb-2006 to till date.

Work experience includes handling Hydrogenation & short path
Distillation (SPDU) process using SCADA automation (PLC)



Job responsibilities:
• Independent handling of plant activities by guiding team of operators (07 No.)
• Handling and troubleshooting problems during process.
• Precommissioning activities involving calibration of reactors and vessels, spark testing of MSGL reactors.
• Coordination between engineering services department and plant for breakdown and development work.
• Studying process by chemistry and engineering viewpoints.
• Maintaining documentation as per GMP Standards.

Equipments / Machines Come Across:
Reactors (MS, SS, MSGL, Loop Reactor), Fluidised Bed Dryer, Instant top discharge Centrifuges,Reboiler, Short Path Distillation Unit, Root Blowers ,Filters (Pressure Filter, Sparkler Filter, Nutsche Filter, Cartridge Filter), Pumps, Scrubber, Autoclave(For Pressurised Reaction)

Utilities:
Cooling Tower, Chilling Plant, Air Compressor and Boiler.

Unit Operations / Processes Handled:
Good knowledge of different types of unit operations such as Distillation, Extraction, Drying, Centrifuging, Scrubbing, Filtration etc. and handled several types of unit processes such as Catalytic Hydrogenation, Chlorosulfonation, Methylation, Esterification, Etherification, Amidation, etc.
