E & I Engineer/ Commissioning Engineer / Project Engineer / Construction Engineer/ Project Coordinator

To expand potential in the oil & gas sector as electrical engineer o instrument engineer or project management level

Over fifteen years of working experience in project management for construction & commissioning either offshore or onshore. The latest included assignment as electrical commissioning engineer for Shell’s offshore rejuvenation project located offshore Sarawak, East of Malaysia. Had been assigned in many projects involving offshore Hook-up & Commissioning; amongst key involvement included working with Shell, Petronas Carigali and Exxon-Mobil as Commissioning Engineer, E & I Inspector, Project Engineer and Maintenance Engineer. Assigned as Construction Manager for E & I facilities upgrading project in 1999; this project involving gas district cooling plant operated by Petronas subsidiary; and prior to that, worked as company site representative for Exxon Mobil refinery for E & I facilities upgrading in Port Dickson. In 1997 worked as Electrical Engineer for the construction of BP-Petronas acetylene plant, and prior to that as E&I Engineer for the construction of Petronas bunkering facilities, Electrical Engineer for the yard fabrication of offshore modules - Petronas Dulang D, Exxon Mobil Lawit-A platforms and the fabrication of Al-Baraka-1 self-erecting drilling tender barge. These involvements entail familiarity with working plant permit safety regulatory system, safe working plan and practicable understanding of operations for various equipment such as gas turbine compressor, generator, power distribution, DCS, fire & gas system, plant monitoring, SCADA, shutdown philosophy, UPS & battery, air compressors, pneumatic etc.
Analytic and capable to communicate at all levels, with multiple exposures working for Clients and Contractors, capable to be independent and coordinated well as team player.

1990 -Technical training program in Japan sponsored by Association for Overseas Technical Scholarship (AOTS) of Japan. The areas of training and intensive studies covered six months extensive training on industrial control automation, pneumatic & hydraulic system, electrical engineering, plant maintenance, industrial management, quality assurance and quality control (QA/ QC).
