Petroleum /Drilling Engineer

To play my role in Oil and Gas industry particularly as a team member in Drilling / Petroleum Engineering with due regard to good oilfield practices.

Working as Night Company Man in Oil and Gas Development Company Limited at Chinese Rig GWDC-VI Currently drilling Dakhni Deep # 01 (TD 5225m) in Potwar Basin since April 2006.
Worked as Assistant Engineer Drilling in Oil and Gas Development Company Limited at Rig N-1 and Drilled Chanda-II Directional Well (TD 4990m) at Shakardara from April 2005 to April 2006.
Responsibilities include.
• Daily Morning report on LMKR “Open Wells”
• To ensure that all well plans, designs and well programmes meet defined well objectives
• Optimization of drilling parameters
• Hydraulics optimization
• Fishing operations
• Well head Installations
• BHA Preparation
• Inspection of rig floor equipment like tongs, slips etc.
• Supervise the Inspection of BHA by third party
• Material Management pertaining to drilling
• Implementing Drilling Supervisor’s daily work instructions
• General assistance to Drilling Supervisor & Logistics Coordinator.
• Casing / liner tallies.
• Cement, displacement & test volume calculations.
• Monitor the mud parameters
• Assisting with layout of casing & completion tubular.
• Assisting with service providers where possible

One year training as Assistant Engineer Drilling from Oil and Gas Training Institute Islamabad from 26th April 2004 to 26th April 2005.

• Bids Evaluation of Drilling Contracts

B.Sc Petroleum Engineering from U.E.T Lahore Pakistan in Jan 2003 securing 85%.
