Senior Project Coordinator/ Resident Engineer/ Sr. Civil Engineer

To ensure high level of competency and team work in the organization so that to meet standards and requirements of the Clients.

Present Job Responsibilities:

• Assigned as Client’s Representative.
• Supervise and manage Projects assigned.
• Coordination between Architectural, Structural and MEP design team.
• Coordination of Structural works with Architectural and MEP works.
• Supervise construction, conduct on-site inspection and check the quality of work, materials and equipment of the contractors. Check if the materials and any portion of work conform to the drawings and specifications.
• Check if materials are properly handled, stored and used in the projects.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, samples and other documents submitted by the contractors.
• Supervise sampling/ testing of materials and report test results.
• Require the removal or repair of faulty construction and which was performed without inspection
• Follow-up and check corrective works being undertaken by the contractors.
• Review Contractor’s Progress Reports and compare with the planned line bar charts versus the actual (S-curves) and advise them of any delays and problem areas.
• Check / evaluate contractors’ valuations and compare them to the physical progress of the projects and submit it to the client.
• Assist the contractors in the interpretation of the contract documents.
• Provide design clarifications, corrections and amendments.
• Maintain records of all proceedings, correspondence, approval and milestones.
• Conduct and minute project meetings with client, contractor and sub-contractors to review progress for assurance of the completion of project on time.
• Approve all finishes and colors for materials and its components.
• Prepare and issue documents to describe variations.
• Coordinate and prepare design certification necessary for the completion of the work including certificates required by government authorities.
• Prepare progressive snagging lists throughout the construction period culminating in a final list attached to the Handing-Over Certificate.
• Review and approve specifications and method statement.
• Monitor safe work practices at site. Inspect safety measures taken by the contractors.
• Overlook works assigned to team members.
