Sr. Inspector - QA/QC, Welding/Painting/Coating

I am looking for an opportunity to expand and extend these skills in a challenging role.

I have worked for more than 16 years in this industry. Having started on the India as a Supervisor and Site Engineer through to my most recent position as QC Inspector or Clients Inspector. Along the way, I have worked in India, Nigeria, Oman, Dubai, Qatar acquiring skills that I am able to bring with me for the benefit of any employer. I am looking for an opportunity to expand and extend these skills in a challenging role. I have held senior positions in Gas Distribution, Oil & Gas Industries, chemical plants, offshore jacket & platform construction, Installation, Hook up, Punch listing, Clearing punch list, N2/Hilum leak test and commissioning along with pipelines.
I am a quality inspector from a welding, NDT, Painting inspection background and have acquired a wide range of skills in QA, QC & NDT. I have been able to keep abreast of developments in both the welding, painting and inspection fields. I am quite happy to embrace new technologies. I have been involved in looking for opportunities to introduce these into the workplace to save both time and money. I am able to collect and correlate data. I have the capacity to spot trends and calculate the possible results. I can read technical drawings, interpret specifications and communicate information at all levels. Recent years have seen me comfortably working in small teams. I am computer literate with good basic design skills. Together with this, I have a fair knowledge of MS Word & Excel and have worked with a wide range of programs including for reporting systems. I have a fair knowledge of all international standards.
I am presently working with J. Ray McDermott onboard DB27 as senior QA/QC on different offshore projects of jacket, Deck and pipeline installation for different clients. In the preceding 16 plus years I have held the following positions: - Vendor Inspector, Expeditor, Commissioning inspector, Clients welding inspector, QA Supervisor, QA/QC inspector, Platform inspector, Structural steelwork inspector and NDT supervisor.

Over 19 years experience in QA/QC, welding, painting/coating and NDT fields in oil and gas industry, petrochemical plants, cross country pipelines, sub sea pipeline, onshore and offshore platforms.
Have performed various kinds of inspections i.e. Welding, Painting/Coating, visual / dimension check, NDE, hydro test / leak test, N2/Hilum leak test, coating, site erection supervision and expediting of the equipment like pressure vessels, towers, boilers, heat exchangers, steel structures, piping, fired heaters, off shore jackets / Modules, sub sea pipeline hook up and commissioning.
