November 2006 - Present NETWORK ENGINEER: Qatar Telecom (Q Tel) Doha, Qatar. Working as Network Engineer for Doha Asian Games project, through Al Mannai Corporation, Doha. Installation of Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi), Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and switches, Monitoring and resolving networks connectivity.
April 1998 – May 2005 NETWORK ENGINEER: Saudi Electricity Company, Qasim, Saudi Arabia. Networking – Installing and troubleshooting of Microsoft windows network. Administrating LAN, implementing TCP/IP addressing. Installing and configuring network printers, sharing of printers and files.
Installing and configuring workstation and Mainframe terminals under MS Windows. Configuring Intranet and Internet. Configuring Microsoft outlook for multiple mailboxes. Installing and configuring antivirus.
Responds to helpdesk to identify and resolve hardware and software problems, implementing hardware upgrades and software updates as required when released.
Repairing & troubleshooting of general PCs (IBM, COMPAQ, DEL, MICRON, and ACER etc) and printers. Microsoft Office Application- Creating slide presentation with PowerPoint, adding animation, and sound to slides, creating documents in MS Word with different formats for creating manuals etc, building database with MS Access, and creating spreadsheet with MS Excel.

Mainframe – Installing, troubleshooting and configuration of Mainframe terminals and line printers (IBM 6262, CTi, Memorex Telex, Sedco Ultima, Magna series etc), troubleshooting and maintenance of 3174 Mainframe controllers.
