Responsibilities & duties:
-assists in planning & organizing the activities of the IA department. Including preparing an annual audit plan which fulfills the responsibility of the dep., scheduling & assigning work to meet completion dates, and estimating resource needs.
-Ensure that audit address areas of concern relative to the goals, performance objectives and impact of a variety of economic, financial and managerial programs.
-provides guidance, supervision and assistance to the internal audit staff involved in performing professional-level audit work.
-as needed, confers, advises, initiates & coordinates with other departments about policies and procedures.
-ability to identifies internal control weaknesses, ensures the entity procedures are effective, efficient and in compliance with laws & regulations of the country.
-assists in coordinating coverage of audit activities with the independent outside auditors & to represent the head of IA department as necessary.
-The incumbent is under the general direction of the internal audit manager of FMF EGYPT and internal audit manager of AKAM Geneva Switzerland.
