Checking and maintaining mud properties as per operators specification, troubleshoot drilling fluid problems. Fill out various daily reports as per operator request including Oil on Cutting data etc. Develop specifications of mud chemicals and additives. Ensuring solids control equipment is working optimally and efficient operations. Ordering and maintaining stock inventories and writing re-caps for each well. Design mud programs for drilling vertical, directional and horizontal oil, gas, geothermal and coal seam methane wells.
