14.5 yrs of work experience in Basic &, Detailed engineering, Projects for Instrumentation & control systems. During this period I have handled engineering projects involving Instrumentation & Control systems as diverse as Pneumatic, Electronic, Smart instruments, PLC, DCS & SCADA in Refineries, Oil & Gas, in India & Middle East. The last two plus years of my work in Saudi Arabia has helped in consolidation and harnessing of my engineering skills and keep abreast with latest developments in the instrumentation field and system side


· Generation of Instrument technical specification and data sheets for flow, level, temperature, pressure, analytical instruments and systems and subsystems like DCS, ESD, Custody metering systems, Radar tank gauging systems, Fire and Gas systems.
· Sizing of control valves, Safety relief valves, Orifice plates. Conversant with Instrument sizing/selection software ORICAL2, INSTRUCAL.
· Layouts like instrument location plan, cable routings and trench layouts, Fire & Gas detection layouts.
· Drawings like Cable block diagram, Instrument loop diagrams, Process & Pneumatic Hook-up diagram, Interconnection wiring diagrams (Junction box & Marshalling).
· Schedules like cable and conduit schedule, Instrument installation schedule, Instrument database.
· Control system I/O sizing, power requirement sizing, System architecture drawings etc.
· Inter discipline squad checks and relaying and obtaining information from other disciplines pertinent to job
· Technical evaluation and adjudication of vendors bid and helping procurement in selection of the vendor for instruments and systems.
· Preparation of RFQ, Purchase Requisition, and NMR review for instrument items.
· Project Proposal engineering deliverables estimate, Man hour estimate, Material take offs etc at the bidding stage.
· Attending to Construction, Commissioning and Engineering queries from clients.
· QA/QC checks of the drawings and documentation in line with company's and internationally accepted QA/QC procedures.
· Controlling the flow engineering deliverables as per the plan schedule and containing with in the budgeted man hours.

· Familiar with International Standards: ISA, ISO, ANSI, API, PIP, NFPA, NEC, IEEE,
SAUDI ARAMCO, SHELL, SIPC, Saudi Chevron Philips, SABIC standards.

· B.E. Degree (Electrical & Electronics) in year 1991 from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India.
· 1 Year Advance Diploma course in Business Management in year 2000.

Training and Seminars Attended: Completed Industrial Automation course on programming and implementation of Allen Bradley S5, Modicon micro series PLC’s with SCADA software wonderware INTOUCH & Cimplicity HMI in India
