I am a Singapore Permanent Resident(PR).

Having 17 years of experience in handling Instrumentation & Control System projects for FPSO, Offshore Oil & Gas platforms, Onshore Oil & Gas Export processing terminals, Oil Pumping stations & Refinery / Petrochemical applications.

As a Systems Engineer at Prosafe Production Services-Singapore, just completed “Azurite FDPSO” project (The world’s first ‘Drilling FPSO’ for Murphy Oil,Congo-West Africa).

My responsibilities include:
Construction & Pre/Commissioning activities for FPSOs coevring Instruments, DCS & Telecom systems
Review of DCS & Telecom system design/configuration
Attend FATs on PCS, PSD, F&G, ESD systems & Telecom sub-systems
Prepare boundary drawings for ICSS & Telecom sub-systems
Test Control Logic software, Cause & Effect Matrix for PSD and ESD systems
Attend FATs for Control, Instruments & Telecom systems.
Define control, telecom & instruments commissioning scope within the sub-systems
Write Commissioning procedures for ICSS & Telecom systems
Follow-up with shipyard to get mechanical completion of the sub-systems
Prepare punch lists for sub-systems and follow up with concerned disciplines
Simulate / Test Control Logic/Application Software
Check Cold Loops with Alarm & Trip levels
Review/modification of Process/HMI displays
Integration of Addressable F&G detectors and Panels with PA/GA systems
Liaise & co-ordinate with Keppel shipyard supervisors to achieve Pre-commissioning milestones
Co-ordinate with vendors and get the individual equipments installed & commissioned
Interface Telecom systems with ICSS and FDPSO’s Drilling Control systems
Manage sub-systems integration (SAT & UAT) and handover to Operations dept.
Arrange compliance tests with IMO, SOLAS and Class requirements
Prepare/demonstrate systems to comply with DNV’s guidelines & get the Surveyor’s approvals

Implemented projects in Singapore, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait etc., and visited Norway, France, Finland, Sweden Japan, SriLanka, Thailand, Qatar, Dubai, AbuDhabi, Ras Al-Khaimah & Sharjah for project trainings.
