1 Automation of a Burner Rig (2004)
Worked in collaboration with Standard Aero to add further features to the burner rig to increase productivity as well as introducing a video monitoring system so that in the case of an emergency, a security system will be activated to set off an alarm.
2 Applying Industrial Techniques to the Emergency Department at Victoria General Hospital (2004-2005)
Analyzed the flow processes and redesigned the ER system to make it more effective using a combination of lean manufacturing and six sigma.
3 Applying Lean manufacturing at Water Systems Incorporated (2005)
Found an economical and viable way to recycle water being used in a cleaning work cell. The scope was to lower the current water consumption so that the annual water cost will be reduced by fifty percent.
4 Desalinating Brackish Water in the WERC Design Consortium (2005-2006) held in New Mexico.
Aided in the design and testing of a low power passive ion exchange system for the desalinization of brackish water. The system was designed to be modular, scalable and flexible to allow implementation in a wide range of locales and varying populations.
