• Training in Amria Petroleum Refining Company during the last year of my education.

• Work in ALEXANDRIA FIBER COMPANY (AFCO) Multinational company related to “ADITYA BIRLA GROUP” . The work started in December 2004

• Training in THAI ACRYLIC FIBER (TAF) in THAILAND which related to the same group The Training was about all the field operation in the Polymerization area and the Solvent Recovery area.

• Training on the DCS “Distributed Control System” (model YOKOGAWA CENTUM CS3000 R3 ) Operation and how to control all parameters through it. This training was by the help of GIZA SYSTEMS ENGINEERING CO. and some engineers from YOKOGAWA CO.


• Commissioning and start-up of (AFCO-1) Chemical area.





Responsibilities:

1. During the Commissioning and the start-up of the company . This time period included :

• Supervise the pipes erection and installing of all machines and equipments, And also all the Modifications in the lines and systems through the P&ID’s.

• Supervise the Install of all the tanks and all related work like buffing and insulation.

• Supervise the Install of the control valves and devices which related to instrumentation like Mass flow meters, Conductivity meters and (Pressure,Temperature,Level) transmitters.

• Flushing all the lines and the pressure test and element test for the pipes.

• Pressure and Vacuum test for some equipments like the Evaporator , Flush de-aerator and MR (Monomer recovering ).

• Checking all the logics and interlocks of the system with the instrumentation engineers.

2. After The Startup:

• Control the process from the DCS Control Room and manage between the field and the Control.

• Supervising the field activities like the preparation of the batches and the unloading of the Raw material.

• Solve the problems during running , and also to be ready for any emergency case or any Emergency stop “ like any power failure, Interlock or any abnormal case”


• Prepare weekly and monthly plan for the plant operations.


• Prepare the shutdown job list and the work which needed from each department.
