Slickline Junior Operator

Offshore performing slickline operations for both well interventions and completion installation, working offshore Northsea Sector.
Assist completion personnel with sub-assembly preparation (strapping/drifting/etc) and installation.
Worked primarily on Marathon’s Brae field as part of the core wireline crew, which also involves assisting with e-line and coil tubing operations.
Responsible for the preparation, installation and recovery of slickline plugs and prongs, memory gauges, numerous basic slickline operations.
Limited experience in assisting with electric line operations for perforating, RBP installation, tubing punch, PLT, MFCT and velocity string installation




Slickline Trainee

Offshore assisting with, and carrying out slickline operations for both well interventions and completion installation, working offshore North Sea Sector.


Completion Workshop
Assisted in the preparation, make-up and pressure testing of completion sub-assemblies.

Safety Valve Workshop
Initially assisted with, then carried out the stripping, cleaning and rebuilding of both wireline retrievable and tubing retrievable hydraulic operated safety valves.

Wireline Workshop
Assisted with, and carried out maintenance to wireline equipment (units, tools and pressure control equipment).
Performed pressure testing of PCE.
Assisted with preparing tool packages, shacks and tool-houses for offshore load-out.

• BOSIET

Personal Profile:

Working in the Oil Industry for more than a year, I started a wireline trainee made my way up to wireline junior operator. Looking for new challenges and an opportunity to show my skills. Also to gain more experience and to develop my career to a higher level.
