Financial Accountant

I wish to widen my experience in the field of finance and accounts mainly because of my interest and professional career and in circumstances that offer me better prospects. I believe on prompt performance and meeting deadlines.

I hold diversified working experience of almost five years, mostly in oil and gas sector. Presently I am working as a Senior Accounts Officer at Asia Petroleum Limited, Clifton, Karachi - an associate company of Pakistan State Oil Co. Ltd., engaged in transporting heated furnace oil from APL Pipri Terminal to Hub Power Company through an insulated 82 KM long pipeline.

I have three years on-hands experience in Accounts Payable Department on Sidat Hyder Financial accounting software. My regular responsibilities are controlling liabilities and making payments by recording payment vouchers and cheque payment vouchers. I am also maintaining others areas like provident fund, bank reconciliation, advance and withholding taxation and short term investments. I correspond independently with banks, financial institutions, corporate entities etc. and have full grip over my work. I am also proficient in computerized accounting and word-processing programs like MS Word/Excel and hold sound knowledge of financial and corporate matters.
