Kehinde Fakolujo is a young, dynamic Petrophysicist currently working for Shell Group in one of the operating units in Nigeria based in Portharcourt. He has more than 10 years of oil industry experience as both studies and Operations Petrophysicist and it cut across data management, formation evaluation, operations monitoring, data acquisition & interpretation as well as cased and open hole logs acquisition, interpretation and evaluation. He has also been involved in resucitation of closed-in wells and integrity wells across the Niger Delta operating environment and this culminated in additional 51Mbopd annual average for the company in 2004. He is the first Petrophysicist to log the CBL/MFIT/GR/CCL across the open hole liner (OHL) deployed in one of the wells in Shell. He was also part of the Subsurface petroleum engineering team that looks at Land area asset of Shell in the eastern divisional operation area where there has been a lot of new technology deployement ranging from horizontal hole gravel packing, level-5 multilateral wells, installation of cableless communication sensors, expandable tubulars and FORMation junction technology.
He is currently working as Petrophysicist in the Opportunity development centre of Shell Nigeria and specifically on Aferolow-Oroni-Uzere project with a view of maturing the project via the opportunity realization process to final investment decision.
He is seeking much more challenges outside Niger-Delta with a view of benefitting from an overseas/international assignment outside Nigeria. He is happily married with a daughter and a son.
