Additional Information
Dear Sirs,
I am looking for entry level work as soon as possible in the oil industry. I am 39 years, physically fit and healthy. I am willing to relocate anywhere, work offshore and in dangerous spots. I am highly motivated and interested in the oil industry and would like to continue to learn and make this my career.
My situation and history is as follows. In 1999 and 2000, I fell into a unique job. In 2388 hours in 18 months, I made $512,000 counting cards at blackjack, which was entirely statistically based and controlled in all my actions. By the time I was finished in Dec., 2000, I was banned from most casinos in western Canada and 14 of 40 casinos in Moscow, Russia (which were the best two places to play in the world). The conditions are such that it is not possible to do this anymore, nor would I want to do it. Since then I traded the stock market and commodities markets unsuccessfully. After 6 years, I realize this is not a viable avenue of work for me. I was a stockbroker for Wood Gundy in Edmonton for a short while prior to 1999. However, my preference is for manual type labor for the rest of my life because I feel it would be well pleasing to God.
In becoming a Christian in Jan., 2001 and through these experiences, I realize the right type of work for me is a value-increasing occupation which is more in harmony with my conscience.
Sincerely,
Troy Brooks
