• Conduct business process documentation and evaluate and test client’s internal control;
• Prepare financial statements and management letter;

• Prepare foreign reporting packs for reporting to other E&Y offices as well as other big 3 firms.

Professional Experience – Oil and Gas Company (Qatar Gas Operating Company LTD.

Position: Member of Audit team (Senior)

I was a member of the audit team assigned to carry out the interim and final Audit of Qatar Gas Operating Company (one of the leading gas companies in Qatar).

Responsibilities:

• Test the internal control system of the company including all the accounting processes and the top management control.
• Understand the operating system and gas producing process in order to have the required background to perform audit.
• Document the existing controls with special emphasis on control weaknesses identified.
• Perform all the auditing procedures and identify any audit differences which would have a material effect on the financial position of the company, specifically I was in charge for:


• Perform the substantive tests for the receivable and payable accounts which include the trade receivable and payable circularization, prepayment and Accrued expenses verification and calculate the current and non-current portion of loans and interest calculation.
• Prepare the related parties transaction matrix to the all sub companies.
• Prepare the Property, plant and equipments lead sheet and perform depreciation reasonableness test based on unit of production.
• Prepare the final Audited financial statements and the management letter for the shareholders.

B-Com degree from Alexandria University in Egypt and currently studying for the CPA qualification.
