The Phillips Optimized Cascade liquefaction process is the licensed LNG technology.

The Experience :
- Since Jan-2000 to May 2004 worked as Process Controller in Alexandria Carbon Black Company S.A.E..
- Since June 2004 till now work as a shift operator on a rotation basis in Egyptian LNG Company.

Description of Process in ELNG :
The Phillips Optimized Cascade liquefaction process is the licensed LNG technology.


Job Description In ELNG:
- Commissioning and start up of train one and two liquefied natural gas plant(Optimized Concophillips cascade technology and Bechtel main contractor).
- Responsible of processing the plant units.
(Front end (Gas sweetening) – Liquefaction – Refrigerant Nuovo Pignone
Compressors –Storage area -jetty)
- Dealing with plant utilities:
(Power generation – Air service compressors – RO unit – Waste water treatment)
- Dealing with different mechanical equipments:
(Compressors – pumps – chillers – fans – fractionation columns – heaters).
- Familiar and respond to plant trouble shootings.
- Deal with PFD, PID, flow charts.

Description of Process in ACBC :
Carbon Black Industry is Petrochemical industry including Thermal Cracking of Petroleum Oil in Furnace reactor to produce the Carbon.

Job Description in ACBC:

Process Section :
- Take the charge of plant start up & shutdown from DCS & from the field.
- Experience on 2 types of DCS:
a. Fisher Rousmount Delta V.
b. Honey Well TDV -3000.
- Operating of all rotating equipment like Pumps& Vans
- Operating of compressors, Blowers, Mixers, Bucket Elevators, Bag filters Screw convyors & pneumatic system.
- Operating of furnace reactor two types (Tread & Carcass).
- Preparation of Oil batches & additive solution & catalysts)
- Checking all Equipments from field by using check lists.
- Adjusting of quality as per ASTM (American Sociaty for Training & material).

BSC, Science, Chemistry, Alexandria University, 1998.

- IHRDC - Integrated LNG Training Program. (Duration 6 months).
- Bechtel - LNG plant start up and operation. (Duration 5 days).
- GTI – LNG plant operator training program.
- Concophillips – Design basis.
- Nuovo Pignone – Gas turbines frame 5D (Mark 6).
- Nuovo Pignone – Refrigerant Centrifugal compressors.
- SIEMENS – Gas turbine generators GT35C2.
- Ebara training course.
- DuPont – STOP training.
- IHRDC – Gas testing (recommended to be authorized gas tester).
- Permit to work.
- Defensive driving.
- Confined space training.
- IHRDC – Behavioral skills (FACT).
