Professional Experience
I have served as a successful Process engineer and executed several Process Enhancements, improved Quality Management Systems & Man Management, for petroleum refineries in India & Kuwait. I have over 23 years of experience in Refinery Management/ Projects, Process engineering, Quality Management Systems/ Audits and presently working with KNPC – MAA Refinery as Process Engineer (Utilities / Wastewater Treatment). I am also involved in establishing Objective & Targets for the refinery to meet Kuwait EPA regulations and HSE standards. I conduct regular safety audits in the process units and encourage personnel to report unsafe condition.
Eductation
I had acquired PG Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) and Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (B.Tech) – Chemical

Comprehensive knowledge and experience in handling operations related to Boilers, Desalination Plants, Demineralization Plants, Boiler Feed Water, Inert Gas Production and Air Systems.
Gained extensive exposure in handling Erection & Commissioning functions, viz.:
- Boiler with a capacity to produce 180 Tons/Hr of 60 Bar steam
- Deaerator with a capacity to produce 350 Tons/Hr BFW
- Demineralizing Plant with a capacity to produce 150 Tons/Hr DM Water
Actively involved in conducting Internal Safety Audit Program and preparing the sectional budgets.
Member / coordinator for several Investigation Committees to investigate different incidents / near miss incidents in the refinery.
Developed several energy monitoring tools for the refinery such as weekly heater efficiency monitoring program, monthly energy index report, Optimizing the steam flow through letdown stations by altering the number of steam turbines running in the refinery, Reducing cooling water consumption during winter by optimizing the cooling water flow through coolers during winter months (Average ambient temperature in Kuwait during summer is 50°C and winter is 10°C) and flare monitoring & reduction.
Developed schemes and implemented to segregate utility facilities, enabling block shutdown of refinery process units.

- Flow Meter Sizing - Boiler/Furnace Efficiency Calculations
