Professional Experience
More than (3) years experience in operation, construction and quality management activities in oil & gas.
From August 2004 he was involved in detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) for Melut Basin Oil Development Project (Upstream Facilities) in Republic of the Sudan as PMC Mechanical Engineer. The project scope of work performed were the basic design, preparation ITB, detailed engineering, procurement, installation, testing, pre-commissioning and performance test of Al-Jabalayn Central Processing Facilities, Palogue Field Production Facilities, Adar Field Production Facilities, Adar Pipeline, Palogue Airport, Adar FSF, Palogue FSF, Produced Water Pipeline and Operation Base Camps in Republic of the Sudan. Project successfully achieved ‘First Oil Date’ on 15 Dec. 2005.
•Review detailed design deliverables generated by EPCC Contractor for compliance to contract requirements.
•Fully conversant with ASME, ASTM, API and BS codes and standards.
•Monitor execution of engineering deliverables.
•Performs field assistance related to pre-commissioning or start-up activities.
•Approval of final close out report for mechanical and piping engineering.
•Expedite any technical resolution related to the project engineering, construction, procurement and commissioning.
•Responsible for assuring that internal and external quality audits are performed on PMC and EPCC Contractors / Subcontractors / Vendors of this project at the appropriate frequency. Performed quality audit / assessment at Ranhill Petroneeds JV in Malaysia.
•In consultation with the field QAQC engineers, prepare and qualify welding procedures and welders’ qualification for pipeline and facilities construction.
•Co-ordinates the day-to-day activities of the site QA/QC inspectors and ensures that the site quality inspectors provide assurance that the Contractor QA/QC activities are being carried out as per project requirements.
•Ensure correct status of major materials and equipment identification, quantity and traceability at various stages of major materials and equipment manufacturing, testing, packing, delivery and storages activities.
•Guide project documentation staff in handling documentation and filing system.
•Assistance to prepare a project close-out report.

B.Sc (Honors) (Second Class – Division E) in Mechanical Engineering –University of Khartoum (2003).
