I have more than 20 years experience in iol field operations. 9 years I was working in india and since 12 years I am working in saudi aramco luberef. I have experience in DCS.

20 years of experience in Petroleum Refining field (Refineries) including DCS. I have experience in many start up, shut down and turnaround experience.

Overseas
March 1995 onwards in LUBEREF II (Joint Venture of Saudi ARAMCO and Exxon Mobil, USA). At present working as a Lead Operator .

I Joined in Luberef as a Field Operator, and was one of the PTF members of Luberef II start up and pre-commissioning activities. Prepared test blocks, procedure for equipment handling and start-up. Prepared punch list, pressure test (equipment and pipe line), flushing, Box up, inspection of equipment, piping including instrumentation and activities involved in Luberef II start-up. In the start-up time, I was promoted as DCS Operator. At present, I am working as Lead Operator.
Lead Operator is assisting Shift Supervisor, co-ordinate with connected refineries, maintaining the product qualities, co-ordinate with maintenance jobs, issuing work permits and co-ordinate with field and DCS operators, Handling and rectify Emergencies, Training to new operators.

I worked in the following units as Field and DCS operator.

a) Vacuum Distillation Unit.
b) Propane De Asphalting unit (Liquid Liquid Extraction)
c) Furfural Extraction Unit (Liquid Liquid Extraction)
d) Utilities, Boiler, Cooling Water System, Tempered water System, Plant Air & Inst. Air System
e) Tankage, Effluent treatment, Shipment and Offsite area.

July 1986 - March 1995 as Field Operator in Kochin Oil Refineries Ltd., Ambalamugal, Cochin, South India (India Govt. Enterprise).
I was one of the PTF member of start-up and pre-commissioning of Aromatic Recovery Unit & Nitrogen Plant.
I have worked at the following units:

a) Crude Distillation Unit.
b) Vacuum Distillation Unit.
c) Visbraker Unit.
d) FCCU.
e) Aromatic Recovery Unit (Benzene & Toluene)
f) Nitrogen Plant.

Field operations including operation, start up, shut down of furnace (Natural & Balance draft with combined fuel firing), Pumps (positive and centrifugal). Heat exchangers, Fuel gas and Air compressors, unit operation including handling emergencies, routine check up, readings, isolation and hand over equipment for maintenance, commissioning after maintenance. Yearly turnaround and commissioning of each units
