Whilst employed as 2nd Engineer I was responsible for supervision ER staff within his area of responsibility also for maintenance and repairs all machinery and equipment in engine rooms, thruster rooms, pumps, compressors, cranes, winches, air/conditioning and heating, refrigeration ect.
I took part in preparation workschedules and planning/supervising refits in dry-docks, FMEA and DP trials. Preparing reports for C/E and handling CMMS (Rast, Maximo, and TMmaster).
I carried routine maintenance for Simrad DP system.
