Electrical Technician/Foremen,

I have worked in the trade as Electrical Tech,Supervisor. My experience is in Oil & Gas field. At present I am working at 40MW Power plant, 33kv transmission line and for the well head areas and also for Central Processing Facilities at Sudan.

Installation of 3.3KV switchgear, 440V MCC Panels, Lighting Panels, Battery Charger, Cable laying for H.V, L.V & Control Cables Glandding & Terminations, Assisting test & commissioning Engg. Circuit Breaker timing test, Megger test, polarity test for C.T and V.T.During my tenure of services with oil fields & other companies I have been actively involved in the total maintenance of running plant and have acquired amble experience as a lead electrician in various fields such as repairing of HT & LT panels, switchgears, battery charger, various type of motors and circuit breakers. Lighting systems and cathodic protection system under and above cable and panel termination. I am also conversant with the wiring of instrument junction and marshalling boxes I am through in the installation of control panel instrumentation & wiring.Maintenance and trouble shooting of HT and LT panels, mcc panels ,circuit breakers (acb,ocb,vcb.) and batteries (alkaline and lead acid.)Operation, trouble shooting and maintenance of engine section, equipments such as switch gears, transformer, lighting and power distribution system.I have good experience in running plant maintenance, LT & HT preventive maintenance and break down maintenance. Ups by pass maintenance, lighting system of refinery, all types of cable glanding, PVC, XLPE & MICC.„« Erection at panel in control room, substation, primary cabling, secondary cabling and termination for electrical / instrument cables.

„« Closed circuit TV system (CCTV):
Installation of monitors, Cameras, JB- CCTV Panels, Cable laying & termination.

„« Cathodic protection system (CP):
Installation of rectifier transformer, anode and reference electrode and JB, Cable laying and termination.


„« Telecommunication system:
Laying of fiber optical cable, installation of JB and cable laying and termination.

„« MV Cables, Low Voltage Cable, Instrument Cable, Fibre optic Cable
„« Assiting in Pre-Commissioning work for circuit breakers and Relays (Meggering, Hi-pot test, Primary/ Secondary Injection Test for Relays & Breakers)

Trainings attended :Permit to work system, Job safety plane, Fire fighting system,
First aid, Hezerds effects management system.

Arrange work permit, Distribute to sub ordinates material management, drawing follow UPS, communication with client & supervisors, prepare work program, arranging final inspection with client to their satisfaction. Installation and commissioning of LV/MV & HV System including Motors, Motors control centers 132 Switchyard and 11.5KV Generator. Continuity and megger test for control wiring of panels, Resistance measurement of internal converter of CB, High voltage AC test, Cable laying for H.V, L.V and Control Cables, Lighting fixture, Glandding & termination

Nature of job:
Inspection of materials from venders as per the purchase orders specification at site warehouse prior to installation. Supervising excavation of cable trench according to cable trench layout dwgs.pulling underground and above ground cable as per cable schedule and cable trench layout dwgs.supervising the erection job according to P&ID,Instruments location plan,Instrument signal and wiring list,Cable schedule,Instrument HOOK-UP, Instrument typical installation.Instrument air piping layout,wiring list,Loop drawings and vender documents etc.Checking and conforming time to time the installation of field instruments as per typical installation dwgs. Preparing checklist for instrument installation and filling time to time to monitor the completion.Clearing of Client erection punches and submitting of documents to QC for project turn over.
