Management of the Electrical Department in Sasol Gas Circuit Business Unit. Prime responsibilities include:
1. Manage 6 Group Leader Sections with 35 electrical artisans responsible for the maintenance of electrical equipment as mentioned below.
2. Ensure the health and safety of all subordinates by the implementation and sustaining of relevant business processes and procedures.
3. Managing the OPEX maintenance and operating processes to ensure plant availability and reliability.
4. Shut down planning and execution.
5. Setting up and managing development plans for all subordinates to ensure improved competency as well as succession planning.
6. Member of the Business Unit management team.
7. Setting up of performance contracts and measuring the relevant KPAs with meaningful KPIs.
8. Setting up and managing operational budgets.
9. Long term planning with respect to asset health and care.
