1. Principal Accountabilities:

• Prepares Monthly Inventory on Chemicals, Laboratory Tools and Equipments.
• Conducts orientation /training to newly hired employee/s.
• Checks the Daily Laboratory Tests Results.
• Responsible for the proper endorsement to the relieving shift.
• Responsible for the arrival of process chemicals prior to unloading and conducts
analysis prior to acceptance.
• Responsible for the thorough inspection of process chemicals including the checking of
weights prior to charging in the reactor.
• Conducts water analysis to the following samples:
1. Softened Water
2. Boiler Feed Water
3. Return Condensate
4. Chilled Water
5. Cooling Tower Water
6. Water Effluents
• Responsible for the calibration of the following equipments:
1. HACH Ultrameter
2. HACH Sension5 Conductivity Meter
3. Moisture Test Oven
4. Reflectometer, etc.

1. Purpose:

Performs required tests for samples of oil, water, amine, glycols, and gas for operational measures according to set standards and technical procedures, including pre-loading and loading tests. Performs maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and apparatus. Prepares required chemical solutions for carrying out various tests and maintains adequate stock of materials. Keeps records of test results and other relevant documents. Observes and practices safety awareness, orderliness, and cleanliness at all times.


2. Principal Accountabilities:

a. With Supervisor’s consent, provides any laboratory related services requested by other Department or Section, especially by Operation/Process, and responds to such requests immediately and promptly as the circumstance necessitates.

b. Performs routine maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment such as gas chromatograph, pH meter, conductivity meter, sulfur analyzer, KF coulometer, spectrophotometer, and salt analyzer, on regular basis to ensure that they are in good operational conditions.
