My background as an environmental field scientist is extensive. With O’Brien & Gere Engineers, I was in charge of field operations, which included tasks such as teaching new engineers how to conduct field investigations, conducting groundwater investigations and wetland delineations, evaluating ground penetrating radar surveys, measuring low level radioactive soil contamination, calculating data interpretation, and writing technical reports to governmental agencies. I was involved with conducting CERCLA site investigations, DOD site decommissioning with the Army Corp of Engineers, underground storage tank removal programs, and brownfield decommissioning projects.
My experience in the IT industry includes helpdesk/system support at the first and second levels, website design and development, apprentice-level programming, database development, and network administration. I have a demonstrated ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users in a manner that is easily understood by the end user in a timely and efficient manner.
As a drilling fluids technician for Milchem, Inc., and Hughes Drilling Fluids, I was based out of Victoria, Texas, and worked the south Texas region both onshore and offshore. I was involved in exploration, completion, and workover wells. My drilling fluids experience includes water based and oil based drilling muds, and included invert polymer drilling fluids.
