Sr. Civil Engineer, Sr. Project Engineer, Sr. Construction Engineer

Seeking a long-term position with a progressive and professional organization with growth potential in the field of CIVIL ENGINEERING and CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMNT where my extensive experience, . Travel is acceptable.

• Responsible for managing an average of twenty five Public Works improvement project contracts per year through advertisement, bid opening, award, construction phase and final acceptance.
• Managing development and construction of infrastructure projects with active project involvement from project conception through construction, including conceptual design, and preparation of engineering design plans.
• Directed all financial, budgeting, operating, compliance, purchasing, human resource, public relations, and administrative functions. Ensured timely execution of financial reporting, operating forecasts, tasks flow planning, new project evaluation, legal, regulatory, equipment maintenance, advertising, cost/pricing and related activities.
• Request for Proposals, scheduling, estimating, preparation, review and approve of engineering design plans and environmental documents.
• Prepare improvement plans and subdivision plan; checking of water systems, sewer and storm drains, subdivision mapping; grading, and hydrology and drainage concepts.
• Review, and approve preliminary and final public works construction plans and specifications. Coordinate construction contracts efforts between contractors, inspectors, City Engineers, utility companies and the public.
• Field investigates variety of construction and maintenance projects. Determine compliance with contract plans, specifications and design criteria.
• Evaluate Structural and Architectural plans and details for reinforced concrete structures including concrete moment frames, shear walls, columns, beams, and slabs, mats, grade beams and pile caps.
• Produce shop drawings providing reinforcement steel details. Coordinate the manufacturing of the reinforcing steel with the shop.
