RESUME OF CAREER ORIENTED PROCESS ENGINEER

Desire a Challenging position as Process Engineer in Process Engineering of Oil & Gas industry using experience gained in Hydrocracking Refinery and LNG Plant.

• Over 8.5 years of process engineering experience in petroleum refinery.
• Deep Hands-on experience in all aspects of Process engineering applications at Mild Hydrocracker unit, NHT , LNG, Amine Treating Unit, Effluent treatment plant, Utilities and offsite.
• Thorough knowledge of Conoco Philips Cascade LNG cooling unit, hydrocaracker & thermal cracker reactor chemistry, hydrocracker catalyst performance evaluation, H2S removal from hydrocarbon gas (amine absorber), Cooling water chemistry, activated sludge type effluent treatment plant chemistry.
• Applied experience of process designing including process computer simulation, development of PFD’s and P&ID’s equipment sizing and specifications, line sizing, project handling. Fully conversant with design codes and standards like API, ASME, NFPA etc.
• Familiarity with all process design safety requirement, including experience of PHA, HAZOP, HAZAN, PSSR, PSM, SIL, and Hazardous Area Classification. Involved in SIL study of LNG Plant’s Acid Gas Removal Unit and Liquefaction unit.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Polythionic acid & chloride attack on austenitic stainless steel, protection against stress corrosion cracking due polythionic acid & chloride, cooling water system corrosion.
• Experience to prepare bar charts and plan turnaround related activities including shutdown /start-up, catalyst unloading/loading and other activities.
• Expertise to coordinate technical review (Management of change Process) meetings for modifications in plant.
• Familiarities with environmental aspects, including EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment), NEQS, ISO-14000.
• Excellent team spirit and capable of interacting effectively with other discipline engineers with other departments such as operations, engineering, maintenance and material.
• Proven ability to use applied research and problem solving skills to support learning as well as personal and professional development.
• Great ability to manage technical seminars, dealing technical delegates and to train fresh engineers.
• Proficient with MS office software, AutoCAD and various computer applications including Hysis, Design –II, Chemcad Therm.
• Great inter-personal skills and comfortable working effectively both independently and in a team environment.
