Control System Engineer

Controls & Automation / MES Engineer / Project Engineer to Develop automated systems for manufacturing facilities and develop applications

(1) Engineering / development of Control systems and Instrumentation, electrical hardware design, PLC logic software development and HMI application programming.
(2) Plant system, MES / SCADA & Enterprise Information systems Integration. (3) Project management including design, support, and field and supervise the engineering activities & Site activities.

1.0 Control Systems specialization
Allen-Bradley, GEFanuc and MODICON PLC’S – Design, Engineering, programming & configuration including I/O & panel wiring layout
Yamatake DEO DCS experience- Engineering & Configuration.
Industrial network & I/Os (DH+, RIO, ControlNet, HART, Profibus, Serial, Fieldbus, Genius Bus, SNP, Ethernet TCP/IP, Flex I/O)
Various Instrumentation & Electrical controls design / Hazardous area equipments & Instruments, VFD / Soft starter, Shutdown/ESD systems
HMI / SCADA Experience – Wonderware, Cimplicity, Intellution and RSview, RTUs / MTUs
Knowledge of DCS, ESD, F&G and Analyser System Design
Assist with execution of other engineering activities specific to the Control Systems technical area such as P&ID review or development, Logic/C&E Diagrams

2.0 Project Support / Management:
Review of Tender document / proposal / quotations / documentations and drawings and detailed SCOW, Provide input to proposals, pres sales support,
Reviewing/Compiling Product technical descriptions and drawings
Participate in vendor / Consultant / management meetings, site visit and Monitor contractors / consultant / vendor activities.
Check, approve and sign off design drawings, Resolve technical issues,
Conduct training for operational & maintenance personnels
Participate / support the FAT / SAT /PAT activities, provide input to the development of project documentation.

3.0 Plant Information / MES Integration:
Knowledge of Information systems related to upstream oil production: well head test data, Production accounting, Real time data monitoring, knowledge of optimization software (ReO / Wellflow), Data reconciliation & reporting, Upstream Well heads / SCADA systems, communication & Instruments.
Experience in MES , Manufacturing execution systems: AspenTech Ip21, Knowledge of Honeywell PHD,OSI PI & GE Proficy.
OPC interface with DCS / SCADA systems.
Database administration / development – SQL Server, ASP, VB, HTML

Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication
