Senior Managerial positions in a diverse field ranging from being a Navigation Officer in the Merchant Navy, a Commissioned Officer in the South African Navy, being part of the Senior Management Team running the then Largest Commercial Fishing Fleet in the country, culminating as Senior Management for a Nationally based company; the disciplines of which varied from the highly competitive offshore environment (oil & gas), specialist projects, general engineering / fabrication through to the labour intensive Human Resource Outsourcing Application.

Executive Management and Leadership Courses had to be successfully completed in order to qualify for the coveted Commission within the South African National Defence Force – in my case the South African Navy - navigation part 1 & 2 at General Both and then on the job training - HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE OVER THE YEARS IN SUCH A DIVERSE ENVIRONMENT, INCORPORATING BOTH THE LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETS & CLIENTELE HAS STOOD ME IN GOOD STEAD AND PROVIDED ME WITH A SOLID FOUNDATION REGARDING MY CONFIDENCE AND ABILITIES TO SUCCESSFULLY FULL-FILL THE SENIOR MANAGERIAL POSITIONS ENTRUSTED TO ME DURING MY CAREER THUS FAR!

My adventurous career has taken me far and wide, offered me exposure to huge responsibilities and afforded me the opportunity to serve in senior managerial positions in a diverse field ranging from being a Navigation Officer in the Merchant Navy, a Commissioned Officer in the South African Navy, being part of the Senior Management Team running the then Largest Commercial Fishing Fleet in the country, culminating as Senior Management for a Nationally based company; the disciplines of which varied from the highly competitive offshore environment (oil & gas), specialist projects, general engineering / fabrication through to the labour intensive Human Resource Outsourcing Application.

The changes in career path have ALL been voluntary; driven by the fact that they were all a step in the right direction regarding both monetary value as well as the highly sought after hands-on managerial experience coupled with the ever increasing duties and responsibilities as I progressed up the managerial ladder within the various organisations!
