Instrument & Control Engineer

1) Working as Research Engineer-Electronics in Hydrocarbon Development Institute of Pakistan (HDIP),Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources.
My responsibilities include:

•Responsible to follow all planning jobs as preventive maintenance.
•Worked on Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level sensors, switches and transmitters at thermal cracking plant.
•Involve in general maintenance work of thermal cracking plant during shut downs.
•Worked on pneumatic control loop systems.
•Testing/Evaluation of different equipment related to Compressed Gas, according to Safety rules & regulations.
•Safety Installation & working of Bulk Storage Land Tanks Calibration.
•Safety Installation & working of all kinds of Flow Meters Calibration with Master Meter.
•Scheduling and Supervise of maintenance work weekly, monthly and annually.
•Safety Inspection of Installation & working of Heat exchangers and Generators erection with necessary equipment, accordance with safety point of view.

2) Worked as Instrumentation & Control Engineer in GATRON Industries (Pvt) Ltd Petro-Chemical Industry.

My responsibilities include:

•Installation of Instruments & Equipments, Maintenance Calibration, troubleshooting of all field equipment.
•Worked in Installation & calibration of Denfoss Inverters.
•Worked on Electronic & Pneumatic Controllers, Transmitter.
•worked on Process Control Loops such as Temperature, Pressure, Flow and Level,
•Worked on various types of control actuators e.g. Hydraulic, Pneumatic and motorized control valves & relief valves.
•Maintenance and calibration Temperature, Pressure, Flow, and Level Switches and Thermocouple.
•Knowledge and work experience on different control systems such as PLC, DCS, and through understanding of control loops.
•Have awareness of personnel and equipment safety, turnaround safety.
•Responsible for making updated inventories for spear parts, new intends and store stocks.
•I have got good experience in calibration & troubleshooting of process control Instrumentation and participate in Major Shut down Erection and Commissioning.
•I’m well aware of the Permit to Work System (PTW) & worked in an environment where ISO-Standers are followed properly, have good understanding of different Kind of instrument drawing such as:
