Professional Experience
Relevant Experiences
• Graduate Teaching Assistant Jan.2006 to May.2006
Assisted Dr. Khashayar Aminian in Lecturing, grading and proctoring for Petrophysics.
• Graduate Research Assistant / Thesis Aug.2005 to Dec.2006
Develop a methodology to estimate formation properties from AOFP. Studied the impact of formation properties on AOFP. Considered several different solutions to determine the relationship among AOFP, permeability, and skin factor, Including pseudo-steady state radial flow, transient radial flow, and bi-linear flow. The non-Darcy flow effects were also included in all these cases.
• Tutor May 2005 to May 2006
Tutoring Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry.
• Computer Lab Manager - PNGE Computer Lab., Dec. 2000 to 2005
Managed the computer Lab, provided technical support for software and hardware upgrades.

Additional Information
Projects
• Design of Drill rig
Gathered the field and rig data of Tabbas Basin in Iran. Designed the drilling assembly, drilling hydraulics program and also the casing. 2005
• Nodal Analysis Using PIPESIM
Selected the optimum production tubing size for the wellbore used in the previous projects. Calculated Pressure drop and conducted Nodal analysis using bottomhole pressure as solution node. Determined the most efficient tubing size for the prediction. 2004
• Pressure Transient Analysis
Well Test Analysis of six real well tests using Schlumberger's Eclipse: Line fitting and type curve Analysis done to identify Initial time, Middle Time and Boundary effects. 2005
• Decline Rate Analysis
Investigated transient rate-decline gas well test with constant bottom-hole pressure, wellbore storage, and high velocity flow effects. Used two plots to define all parameters of interest such as formation permeability, non-Darcy flow coefficient, and mechanical skin factor. 2006
• Petroleum Engineering Design
Designed casing and completion program for two selected wells. Analyzed the well logs and build up test that were provided. Used volumetric studies, gas reserve estimation (Voronoi Graph Method, grid discretization), and future performance of the wells and economic analysis (Monte Carlo Simulation). 2005
