- 1989: Start working for South oil co. (SOC)/Basra
- 1989 to 1995
Worked as a facility engineer (degassing stations) in all the southern Iraqi fields (South & North Rumaila, Zubair, Luhais, Nahr ummar and Subba).
- 1995: joined Reservoir engineering &field development department
- 1995 to 2002
worked with reservoir surveillance & controlling section within the dept. as a monitoring senior engineer responsible on all North Rumaila field activities including pressure maintenance, mapping , production plans, water injection, work-over & perforation programs, PVT results analysis , annual presentations& field development studies reviewing.
- 2002 till now
I'm working along with reservoir studies section as a reservoir simulation engineer dealing with local & international reservoir studies concerning southern Iraqi fields, in addition to solve single well problems using (IPM) package .

- Mitsubishi heavy industries/Basra1989: for a month in gathering centers operation of Zubair field stations.
- French group of companies workshop/France1999: for (10) days, dealing with modern reservoir engineering techniques & oil industry technologies.
- CMG (computer modeling group)/Venezuela2002: for (3) weeks, training on the reservoir/black oil simulation soft ware.
- CMG, Sproule &CNR (Canadian natural resources)/Canada2004: for (2) weeks, simulation training, classic reservoir engineering & site observations.
- Chevron/USA2005: for (6) weeks on a combination field reservoir modeling study & well hydraulics soft ware training.
- in addition to the local training in Baghdad & Basrah locations in different aspects of the oil industry such as drilling , completion , work-over , oil production& water injection strategies ,well logs, safety & computer courses .
