A Mechanical engineering professional with team building and leadership qualities, more than 13.0 years extensive experience in Project Inspection, Material, and ISO 9001-2008 QMS audits in Refinery, Petrochemical, Oil& Gas Sector. Well versed with the concepts of Construction works of On Plot Piping, Pipelines, Station Piping and Valve Stations. Quality control, Review of plans &specifications, Review of material submittals/Receiving Inspection, Fabrication and Welding Inspection, Piping/Pipeline installation, Generation of ITP, Review and Interpretation of Specification requirements, Conformance of Specification Inspection and Testing coordination, Reviewing documentation and Implementation of specification, Welding documentation , Welding Quality , Coordination of WQT/WPQ , NDT and Destructive testing, Pressure testing, Coating applications and inspection techniques, Coating inspection , NCR and Engineering Queries , Certification review, Final Mechanical completion and Hand over , Familiar with different international codes and Standards ASNT,NACE,ISO,SSPC,ASME & API 1104. Literate in the use of some computer software programmed MS office software applications. • Monitoring the contractors Quality related activities are in accordance with Project Specification, Work procedures and applicable International Codes and Standards.
• Review and approve Vendor's Inspection and Test Plans
• Plan and schedule work load of field personnel, ensuring that the contract requirements are understood and met by field personnel.
• Direct liaison with Customers, Suppliers and Field personnel.
• Assist in technical review of quote documents.
• Assist in providing higher level technical supervision to clients.
• Assist in performing a technical review on reports as requested.
• Incoming material inspection at contractor’s yard as and when required before releasing for fabrication.
• Coordination of Field assignments for Inspection and Expediting activities.
• Conduct frequent surveillance visits to ensure that the inspection activities are implemented in accordance with the
approved Quality Plan and ITP's
