Implement all the CEMEX sustainable programs in the Region (CO2 reduction, alternative fuels, KPIs, Ecological Footprint, Clean Development Mechanism, etc.)

Implement Environment Management Systems, ISO 14000 (currently working in the Bahamas Freeport Cement Terminal)

During my work in Petrozuata I went from Project Environmental Engineer supporting the Project Management to ensure the compliance of all environmental regulations. I then worked as Environmental Superintendent in the Upgrader responsible of designing and implementing the environmental plans and procedure for startup and operations. My final position was as Petrozuata's Environmental Coordinator supporting all the operational areas environmental issues and coordinating all the reporting requirements to government and share holders.

My work experience at Cardón Refinery covered the following areas:
Environmental supervision
Management of the hazardous and non hazardous waste, Effluent water, air emissions (I was responsible for the operation of three automatic air quality stations)
Environmental Project management.
Involved in the conceptual design of the environmental issues of the Cardón Expansion Project (PARC)
Refinery representative for a cycle of environmental audits carried out in all of the PDVSA refineries in Venezuela.
Extensive training in oil spill control (Oil Spill Response from England, and participated in several oil spill clean ups at the Refinery and as assistance in spills occurred at other plants.
