The company is engaged in manufacturing of automobile wire harnesses for European cars - Mercedes Benz, BMW and Volkswagen, Audi, Citroen Porsche, Renault, etc..
Job Responsibilities :
v Receiving of raw materials, components, drawings, and specifications against documented procedures and following up of descrepancies of deliveries with suppliers and addressing supplier complaints (Non conformance reports etc.,) .
v Drafting, circulation and control of procedures , drawings and material specs.
v Co-ordinating the safety and environmental system standard ISO 14001 and other European regulations, waste segregation, impact analysis, collection, disposal and preparing the related documentation.
v Conducting Internal Quality Audits (System, Procedure and Process).
v Organising Q.Circles and providing guidance for the members, conducting meetings, documenting and following up the effectiveness of. actions suggested.
v Organising in-house Calibration of equipment used in production and testing and. Liaison with calibration agencies for external calibration of reference. Standards.
v Co-ordination of company wide TQM activities and incorporating external Benchmarking by establishing partners and provide training to concerned employees as part of continued improvement programme.
v Supervision of Production line Quality Inspectors and Incoming Quality v Preparing the Non Conformance Reports and ensuring the corrective actions are done and measuring ad recording the same for audit purposes.
v Preparation and examination of the Initial Samples and their Information Reports, forwarding them to the customer along with the initial samples prepared (Production Part Approval Process: PPAP, APQP).
