stage inspection of welding in fabrication shop & site as per welding procedure specification. which includes joint design, base metal verification, checking of fillerwire & electrodes, purging, baking of electrodes, preheat, pwht etc.
ensure fulfillment of all inspection and test requirements at all stages as per qcp and itp.
witnessing the non destructive testing like mpt,dpt& ut.
interpretation on radiographic films of weld joints, tracing of defects and witnessing its removal.
performing the root visual & final visual testing of weld joints.
witnessing pre weld heat treatment and post weld heat treatment preparing sr charts.
inspecting the cleaning of pipes, which includes acid pickling, sandblasting & detergent washing.
witnessing hydrostatic test of pipelines & valve test .and preparing the test package and taking approval of proposed piping circuits for hydrotest from client.
ability to read and visualize various drawings (ga, isometric etc) and legends.
familiarity in codes and standards.
preparation of proposed wps and submitting to client and conducting procedure qualification test.
conducting welder qualification test and maintaining welder performance and welders repair percentage.
evaluation of welder performance as per client requirement
checking of materials and consumables on receipt as per maricar (material receipt inspection cum acceptance report).
preparation of various qa/qc documents as per client requirements like wir, rir, wjcr,crr, monthly & daily reports.
familiar with erection and fabrication activities.
meeting clients & discussing for their requirements.
conduct site inspection.
making quality surveillance report.
identify the potential areas of improvements in relation to the clients.
identify the quality procedures related to the function of the organization.

b-tech degree in mechanical engineering from ‘mahatma gandhi university’,kerala, india.

done aws examination for cwi, dubai, u,a.e.
asnt level ii in rt, ut, pt & mt from bhides institute of
testing technology (mumbai, india).
autocad level i & ii from autodesk authorized training center.
