Additional Information
Academic Project
•Stirling Engine Development (Senior Design Project)
Worked in a team of five. Analyzed, designed, and built a working prototype of a stirling engine that uses external heat source to produce mechanical works. The main goal was to see how the engine works, and to calculate its torque and efficiency.
•Gear Box Mechanism
A team of five persons designed and developed a gear box mechanism with a reduction ratio of 17:1. Helical gears were utilized in the design in order to improve its life cycles and prevention from failures.
•Application of Water Pasteurization Indicator
Worked in a team of six persons to design and build a water pasteurization indicator (WAPI) that can be used in developing countries. The system must be reusable and has low cost. This project was published into college magazine on August 2006.
•Supercharger and Turbocharger Engine
A team of two members to do a research and wrote a paper of the mechanism of supercharger and turbocharger engines and their usage in engineering. The project main purpose is to see how the engines work and their importance in today’s life.
•Bus Seat Mechanism
Worked in a team of four persons, to design and build a model of a flexible bus seat that can be fitted to the bus wall in a very crowded situation. The linkage arms and joints of the model are critical in the seat development.
