Handling project planning and execution for HEAT EXCHANGERS & PRESSURE VESSELS manufactured as per ASME Sec VIII Div-I / II weighing in the range of 400 MT to 1500MT.
Study the Customer RFQ & prepare the proposed manufacturing schedule in form of Gantt Chart in M S Project & submit to customer through Marketing.
Study the customer Purchase order, work out the critical requirement & prepare Job Planning & Progress Sheet (JPP).
Conduct Kick-off-meeting.Study+freeze best manufacturing sequence.
Work out Critical requirement Shell Plates, Shell forging, Tubes, Fasteners, Gaskets. Expediting delivery materials Study the drawing, work out & procure local forging, pipes & fittings, fasteners & gaskets etc.
Study drawings and sub-contract the work like, Heat Treatment, Forming of dish ends & other components, Machining of parts, make QA plan, stage inspection at vendor’s places. Update manufacturing status MS projectSubmit to the customer (DOW, CNRL, CITGO, SASOL, KBR, EXXONMOBIL ETC). Conduct weekly review meetings with shops for the progress and take action to recover delay.
Worked as a shop engineer. Handled the shift of 95 workmen with multi jobs manufactured simultaneously. Well acquainted with welding processes SMAW, SAW, GTAW, FCAW,ESSC. Study the drawings and plan for coming activities. Prepare next shift plan. Maintain the welding data, analyze the distortion pattern. Prepare the dimension report. Maintain proper documentation of all activities.
