gmdss radio operator

i've been a radio operator for 16 years in the south african navy.i have worked on various ships the latest meko 200 frigate built in germany.would like to do the nebosh safety course.would like to become a safety officer.currently a safety rep.

Work Experience:
2003-2007 radio supervisor incharge of all communications onboard.in charge of a team of 7 members .this includes doing all admin/career planning,leave administation,material and stock controll,liase with company's for repairs and maintanance,performance gradeing and performance reports.
1999-2003 radio supervisor mrcc (maritime search and rescue centre)cape town in charge of a team of 5 members responsibilities include all as above as well as maintaining communications with naval vessels at sea and down loading weather charts from the internet and sending them via a weather fax for the region around south africa for civillian ships at sea around our coast. active part in search and rescue with in our waters.
1991-1999 radio operator training at various military institutions. also trained in fire fighting and damage control.
