•Led a staff of 14 Plant Operators and 10 shop floor employees.
•Directed, monitored and coordinated in accordance to daily/monthly production plan.

RESEARCH ON GTL FISCHER-TROSPCH PROCESS SEPT 2005 – MAR 2007
Worked as a researcher during my Master’s with Professor M.J. Phillips. We conducted studies on:
•The effects of activation parameters on the catalyst behavior during Fischer-Tropsch (FT) synthesis
•Precipitated and fused iron catalysts with varying degree of promoters (K, Cu and SiO2) and their effect on the activity and selectivity
•Designing of different reactor types (fixed bed, slurry phase and fluidized bed) and their subsequent performance
•The activity and selectivity of iron and cobalt catalysts in fixed bed and slurry bed reactors
•Effect of reductants (CO, H2. and syngas), activation temperature and pressure on the stability and performance of catalysts.
