Serve as the site representative for all matters related to construction quality assurance of mechanical works.
Coordinate and supervise the work of all mechanical activities and operations
Monitors and coordinates engineering / design activities of contractors. Attends to and resolves contractor queries and provides technical guidance and expertise such that project goals are clearly understood and to minimize delays. Reviews and approves all related technical documents and supports Engineering manager.
Ensures that CONTRACTOR compiles and maintains updated construction manuals with all documents, procedures, plans and pertinent information related to site work.
Ensures effective implementation of Company health, safety and environmental policy, procedures, regulations and objectives. Conducts all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by not taking on any task(s) that are perceived as unsafe. Complies with the Company's QHSE management system and reports all incidents and near misses to the supervisor or QHSE representative. Ensures effective accident investigation and follow up.
Review contractors' claims related to mechanical works. Prepare recommendations for claims approval or rejection. Assist in negotiations with contractors regarding the value of claims or changes in schedules
Witness testing and commissioning of the works
Approve the contractors' as-built drawings and O&M manual submittals
Assist with the final inspection of the work. Review the adequacy and accuracy of punch lists. Monitor final completion of the work.
Performs other related duties as and when assigned by Engineering Manager ..
Preparing pump cleaning report and flange parallelism report for pump..
Coordinate with contractors and Clients and Killing the Punch List Items and Clearing the test packs as early as possible.
