Duties: Day to day contact point between shore base and vessels. Ensure that all repair works carried out on board and ashore by Base Personnel or in conjunction with ships crew including deliveries are in complete accordance with the requirements of SMS. Routinely arranges for supply of necessary resources to the vessel.
2003 – july 2006 Maritime Chief Engineer. Employed on board of ships owned/managed by Wagenborg Shipping Holland, Portline S.A. Portugal, Carisbrooke Shipping Ltd. UK.
Duties :-keeping up-to-date of inventories and ordering for all ship main spares, materials and tools
-engine crew training for safety on work and operation in emergency situations
-fuel / luboil / materials/chemical substances consuming reports (daily / weekly / monthly)
-engine room monthly running hours reports
-engines and machinery overhauling reports
-works and maintenances reports / maintenance planning
