Geophysicist,Seismic Interpreter, Explorationist

Putting into practice my experience acquired as reservoir and exploration geophysics in an oil and gas Company (operator or service)using the last state of the art in geophysics 3D visualization and interpretation techniques.

*Current position Primera Energy Group Trinidad, Geoscientists (since November 2004).
Carrying out the seismic interpretation of three 3D seismic surveys (Offshore Trinidad W.I.),as well as, planning and supervising all the geophysical studies and projects (seismic acquisition and processing). Also involved in planning and discussion for reservoir development, reservoir delineation, resource assessment and geological modeling with both regional and prospect focus.

*April 2003 – July 2004 Pariaven Consortium, Mavic C.A., Venezuela, Seismic Interpreter.
Participation in the geophysical investigation of five areas in the Gulf of Paria, Venezuela, for Conoco-Phillips. Worked in the seismic interpretation of high resolution 2D and 3D seismic surveys, as well as, describing the sea floor topography, shallow soil conditions and geological features (using echosounders and magnetometric data), along with a brief assessment of those conditions that may constitute a hazard or constraint to safe drilling and building operation. Also had involved in the acquisition and processing of 2D and 3D streamer and OBC data.

*Nov 2000 - Jan 2003 PDVSA (Venezuelan State Petroleum Company).
Updating static models of Gas and oil Reservoirs, applying quantitative interpretation techniques such as seismic reservoir characterization, sequential stratigraphy, trace and volume attributes and AVO analysis to optimize exploration appraisal and development of hydrocarbon pools. Provided the geological input to reservoir delineation, resource assessments, field development planning, seismic acquisition and processing planning.
