ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

OPERATION, INSTALLATION, COMMISSIONING &MAINTENANCE OF ELECTRICAL POWER SYSTEM EQUIPMENT AS PER SAFETY RULES AND WORK PERMIT SYSTEM APPLICBLE FOR REFINERY ,OIL FIELD AND PETROCHEMICAL INDUSTRIES.

Transformers: Up to 132 KV, 100 MVA, oil and hermetically sealed types. Covering examinations including nitrogen filling and leakage test, insulation resistance, parallel operation condition, energisation fault investigation, rectification, testing and maintenance of transformers and its accessories.
Switch Gears: Up to 33 KV. SF6, Vacuum, Air, and Oil circuit breakers, power and motor control centers, isolators, bus ties and bus duct systems. Covering examination, general maintenance including contact resistance, insulation test, service checks, and fault investigation.
Protective Relays :Testing and calibrating all types of protection relays (Micro processor based GE Multilin and ABB Ref 542) involved in the power system. Able to read co-ordination of relays and its operating characteristics.
PCC and MCC :Operation and maintenance of Power control center and motor control center with different type of breaker, contactor and control system. Experienced in gas insulated switchgear room and pressurization substation.
Generator:Operation and maintenance of Gen. sets (Portable to Captive power 3.3 KV, 2072 KVA). With change over synchronizing and related accessories
Motors :Up to 11 KV. 12000 HP, covering inter loop test, P.I. test, vibration test, insulation resistance test. Rectification of faults and general maintenance.
UPS /Battery Charges : Up to 120 KVA UPS in different
and Batteries manufactures, all type of batteries covering maintenance and fault rectification.
General Utilities : Experienced in boiler, furnace,
Electrical Equipments desolation transformers and heater. Fault rectification in its control system.
MOV and Cranes :Testing and maintenance of MOV, Cranes and its fault rectification.
Fire and Gas System:Testing, fault investigation and rectification including general maintenance of different types of detectors and extinguishing systems. Installation and maintenance of earthing.
Cable installation:Covering initial installation of E&I system cable and ducting systems, insulating resistance test, hipot test and fault investigation, find out fault location and rectification.
Engineering Drawing : Well knowledge in schematic and logic diagram to find out faults.

Technical Qualification : Diploma in Electrical Engineering

ACT Apprentice Training (Govt. of India)
Diploma in Industrial Safety
