1 Fabrication of Floating Pump: Floating pump floats on the surface of water thus eliminating the need for a separate foundation and also the suction pipe is eliminated which reduces frictional losses. The project consists of design of Shafts, Calculations of Vane angles and drawings such as velocity triangles at entry and exit.
2 Pneumatic Robotic Arm for Bowl Cleaning of Centrifugal Separator: This machine which is first of its kind in the world is of use in rubber industry for cleaning the bowls of the centrifugal machine. This machine automates the present manual cleaning method of bowls and thus prevents damage to the costlier bowls.This project is done for KSFDC, Karnataka.
